One alley, seven familiar faces

Six cats run their little corner of New York. Their stories would not be complete without the neighborhood police officer trying to hold them accountable.

How the group works

T.C. generates ideas, Benny supplies the gentle heart of the gang, Choo-Choo is easily swept up in romance, and Fancy-Fancy knows how to make an entrance. Spook and Brain provide comic contrast. Their differences make even an ordinary alley meeting turn into a sketch.

Officer Dibble is the central recurring outside force. He wants the cats to stay out of trouble, but many episodes show a relationship more complicated than a simple hero-versus-villain rivalry.

Look for their changing roles through the broadcast episode list and later in the movie adaptations.
